This is going to be a fairly long article touching on several topics regarding food, weight loss, diet, health.

First of all if you have not heard the words of our medical director and chief Take Shape for Life Architect Dr. Wayne Andersen, you must get a copy of his “It’s Not Your Fault” CD. Click Here so that I can mail a copy of it out to you. Why we are all “suckers” of our poor food industry and why doctors only want to prescribe pills for all the sickness you are getting from eating all the food being produced in the world today much of which contains little or NO nutrition.

Let me start out by saying, I get asked by people all the time, I can’t afford the Medifast food as it is too expensive. The fact is that 1 Medifast food supplement is around $2.00. You cannot eat a nutrition packed meal in any-?restaurant or make it yourself from store bought food for less! One top of that, how often do you eat out at fast food and regular restaurants? Statistics show that 66% of adults eat out at restaurants at least once a week. Any many go to fast food places at least twice a week, like Mc Donald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s.

Our food supply no matter where you get it today, in the store, at restaurants or fast food places contains little if any nutritional value. So, by eating a Medifast meal, I’d say your getting a good deal for around $2.00. Many of my clients including myself have also reduced or eliminated our medications prescribed by doctors who care little about your health and more about how many people they can turn around in an hours. To them it’s a numbers game. Even my doctor, even though nice doesn’t care about my health. He’s just looking for something wrong with me so he can write a prescription and fuel the drug industry.

Are you starting to get it?-? Just get-?our “It’s Not Your Fault” CD, you will.

While were on the subject of Medifast food, people often ask me. Do I have to take this “stuff” the rest of my life?

My answer to this is, you have to eat right?-? What are you going to eat out there that is going to keep you healthy? Food from Weight Watcher’s, NutriSystems (Click Here to Read Why You MUST Not Use This Fad Diet),-? Slim-Fast or Jenny Craig are systems designed to help you lose weight for the short term quick fix but none of which contains the nutrition your body needs. Many people also give up and turn to cheap diet pills or even gastric bypass surgery, often with negative or even catastrophic results.

Being on the Take Shape for Life 5 and 1 plan achieves 2 things. Gets you fast weight loss and gets you healthy. After that, you introduce better food slowly into your diet and keep taking Medifast as low calorie food supplements. The end result, you stay healthy and keep the weight off.

Remember, we are all in this together. Not one of us is isolated and can pull this off without any hiccups. That’s why Take Shape for Life has many support systems available to help you. I’m your first line of defense, after that I get you help from many other sources in our health organization. It’s a tough road for all of us as we are all constantly bombarded every single day with food ads, fast food restaurant ad’s and even the “Food Channel” on cable TV all trying to get us to eat more and more delicious food while we all get sicker and sicker. Most of us end up going to our doctors for a quick fix pill or even worse end up in the hospital for our illnesses mostly caused by our food industry, environment and our stressful live.

On a quick note, have any of you seen “SuperSize Me”? I saw it twice during the Christmas holiday of 2006. It’s a 2002 documentary of a man who ate nothing but Mc Donald’s food for 1 month. He ended up getting addicted to the food even though his doctor told him he was going to die if he did not cease his eating of the food. He got real sick, fat and his blood chemistry was off the charts! See it if you can. It’s a real eye opener of what we still face today.

And also remember, the medical industry is not there to help you. They want you on the medication and care very little about you or your health. You have to take that first step!
